Dundee Township Planning Commission
Regular Meeting - Minutes
September 19, 2007
Chairman Art Bronson called the regular meeting for September 19, 2007 to order at 7:00 p.m. The roll call was taken these members were present: Commissioner Jeanette Brockman, Liaison John Williams, Commissioner Chuck Ruehs, Secretary David Sedlar and Vice-Chairman Ed Proctor. Commissioner George Horkey was an unexcused absence and Building Inspector Bob Madaski was an excused absence.
The minutes to the regular meeting for the month of August were unanimously accepted after Ms. Brockman moved with support from Mr. Proctor to do so.
Chairman Bronson added Item B - Discussion of a PA 116 request to the agenda. With nothing further to add Mr. Ruehs moved to accept the agenda as amended, Mr. Sedlar seconded this motion and all were in favor.
Communications - Chairman Bronson noted that he called Jeff Purdy of LSL to find out about several items he is working on for the township. Mr. Purdy said he would have something for us by the next regular meeting.
Public present - Maria Bronson was present.
Scheduled Business
A. Building Permits - Building permits #PB070044 - #PB070053 that were left by Mr. Madaski were presented for the Commissioners to review.
B. Discussion of a PA 116 request - Chairman Bronson explained that the main thing about a PA 116 request was to check and see if it fits in with the master plan. Eldon and Norma Sontag owns the parcel being considered, 19.89 acres, after a short discussion it was determined that it fit in with the master plan. Mr. Proctor made a motion to recommend to the Township Board to approve the PA 116 request, Mr. Sedlar seconded his motion and all were in favor.
With nothing further to discuss Ms. Brockman made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:06 p.m., Mr. Proctor supported his motion, it was unanimously accepted.
