Trustee Lazette: Trustee Lazette reported he attended the Monroe County Road Commission meeting last night (Monday, February 26, 2018). He thanked them for the work performed at Wells and Dixon roads. He also expressed his frustration with Radka Road and Rogers Road just west of Covell Road. Radka Road has been a two year process and things are held up with MDEQ. Trustee Lazette talked with Randy Pierce of the MCRC before the meeting and suggested it may be time to involve Senator Zorn and Representative Sheppard. Apparently, this is not a good idea since MDEQ does not like having anyone going over their head. The plan expressed at the meeting is to move the road a distance from the river, and then stabilize the bank without having to get into the river. This method will prevent MDEQ from being involved.
Trustee Travis Horkey: None
Trustee Jaworski: None

ANY OTHER ADDITIONAL BOARD COMMENTS:
Trustee Jaworski would like to give the County Line Road north of M-50 attention. He feels they are paying the road millage as well and deserve to have their end of the road given attention as well. Treasurer Sontag mentioned Dennison Road north of M-50 needs to be looked at sooner than later. Cracks are beginning especially along the edges. It would be a shame to have preventable damage after spending the money to improve it.
Trustee Lazette made the motion supported by Treasurer Sontag to pay the bills from February 22, 2018 in the amount of $11,391.59.
Trustee C. J. Horkey adjourned the meeting at 7:30 p.m.
