OFFICIAL REPORTS

Supervisor Uhl

Petitions have been circulated and returned for verification for the Nieman Road water district.  An informal public meeting will be scheduled to allow residents from Raisinville and Dundee Townships to review cost information.  The meeting will be held at the Raisinville Township Hall.  Attendees from the township will be Supervisor Uhl, Clerk Lupu and Trustee Lazette.

Raisinville Township has agreed to share the cost for road improvements to be done on Nieman Road south of M-50.  The approximate cost per township will be $7,500.00 to $8,000.00.  Motion by Trustee Williams and supported by Treasurer Goetz to approve the Monroe County Road Commission contract for the improvement to Nieman Road south of M-50.  Motion carried.

The drainage problem along Alford Road previously had two potential options for correcting the drainage.  One option involved an easement onto a resident's property.  This resident will not give the consent.  The other option developed by drainage expert Mr. Lewis Roe will involve running pipe along the road right of way.  The approximate cost for this option is $25,000.00 with an additional cost for the piping.  Motion by Trustee Juckette and supported by Trustee Lazette to approve Lewis Roe's estimate for the Alford Road drainage project.  Motion carried.
