A Regular Meeting of the Dundee Township Board was held Tuesday September 24, 2024. Supervisor Uhl called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. All present recited The Pledge of Allegiance.

 

Present were: Trustees: Alana Horkey, Ken Jaworski, Travis Horkey, Gary Lazette, Supervisor Uhl, Clerk Ziesmer, Treasurer Hunt. Clerk Ziesmer did roll call.

 

• Treasurer Hunt moved to adopt the agenda. Trustee Lazette supported. Motion carried.
• Treasurer Hunt moved to waive the reading and approve the minutes from the regular meeting held on August 27, 2024. Trustee T. Horkey seconded. Motion carried.

 

CORRESPONDENCE: Ordinance Officers Report. Treasurer Hunt moved to waive the reading of the one correspondences and place on file. Trustee Jaworski seconded. Motion carried.

BUILDING DEPARTMENT: No report at this time

 

FIRE DEPARTMENT: Total calls for August were 98. Village Calls: 66, Township Calls: 27, Mutual Aid Calls: 5.

 

TREASURER LISA HUNT: Taxes still coming in. Stayed late on Monday September 16^th to collect due taxes. Monroe county Treasures meeting was cancelled due to lack of agenda. Had two-day Training with BS&A.

 

TRUSTEE GARY LAZETTE:  Library painting of curb and inside walls is complete. MTA meeting was cancelled due to conflict with speaker.

 

CLERK KARLA ZIESMER: Ballots for the Nov 5^th election was delivered today. In the process of getting them in envelopes to be mailed by Monday September 30^th.

 

SUPERVISOR UHL: No report at this time.

 

TRUSTEE TRAVIS HORKEY: No report at this time.

 

TRUSTEE KEN JAWORSKI: Met with Bill Root. He has begun his process of spraying both cemetery’s. Tree cutting company is scheduled to be at cemetery on October 3^rd.

 

TRUSTEE ALANA HORKEY:  No report at this time.

 

OLD BUSINESS: Trustee Jaworski moved to send the Proposed WESC Ordinance Amendment to the Planning Commission, to have a public hearing. Trustee A. Horkey seconded. Motion carried.

 

NEW BUSINESS: Trustee Lazette moved to pay the Invoice to Decker Agency in the amount of $48,054. Trustee Jaworski seconded. Motion carried.

 

Trustee A. Horkey motion to pay bills from September 5, 2024 in the amount of $42,093.23. Treasurer Hunt seconded. Motion carried.

 

Supervisor Uhl motioned to pay the bills from September 19, 2024 on the amount of $8,725.21.  Trustee Lazette seconded. Motion carried.

 

Trustee Jaworski motioned to adjourn the meeting at 7:34 p. m. Treasurer Hunt supported. Motion carried.

 

The next meeting will be October 8, 2024 at 7:00PM.
